Raising a Glass to Pride: Why This Month (and Our Work) Means So Much to Us

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate love, authenticity, and the vibrant diversity that makes our communities stronger. It’s also a moment to reflect on the history, resilience, and ongoing fight for equality within the LGBTQ+ community.

For us here at Drink Slingers, Pride isn’t just something we celebrate once a year, it’s part of who we are, every single day.

Our business was founded by and is proudly owned by a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and we’re equally proud to have many queer folx on our team. That identity is woven into the heart of our business, from the way we show up for our clients to the inclusive, welcoming energy we bring to every event we serve. We believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and completely themselves, whether they’re raising a glass at a wedding, a corporate gathering, or a backyard party.

There’s something powerful about creating spaces where people can come together, let their guard down, and celebrate love in all its forms. Behind every cocktail we shake and every bar we set up is a commitment to making those spaces feel safe, joyful, and full of life.

Pride Month is a reminder of how far we’ve come, but also of the importance of continuing to support and uplift one another. As a business rooted in this community since 2015, we’re honored to play a small role in those celebrations.

And while Pride is a time for visibility, our support doesn’t end on June 30th. It lives in the way we do business all year-round, with intention, inclusivity, and a whole lot of heart.
